The theater of Oran Abdelkader Alloula was inaugurated as the municipal opera of Oran on December 10, 1967 and was nationalized by independent Algeria in 1963, to be attached initially to the National Theater of Algiers (TNA ) until 1972 when it obtained its autonomy by becoming the Regional Theater of Oran with as director the late Abdelkader Alloula, actor, author and director of universal dimension, since he was the author of a new vision and d ” a new popular genre which was in full experimentation before Islamist terrorism decided otherwise, in the assassination in March 1994 and since and in tribute to his sacrifice, the regional theater of Oran bears the name of Abdelkader Alloula and the adventure goes on.
